Julie & Patrick’s Wedding, St. Colman’s Cathedral Cobh and The Maryborough Hotel, Cork. Wedding Photographer Cork.

Julie, had a busy house with all the girls being made up by Laura and Sarah for hair. Off to St. Colman’s Cathedral where Fr. O’Mhurchu a friend of the grooms was ready to officiate. The groom Patrick Dwyer is Captain of the All-Ireland Intermediate hurling champions, Ballymartle, and his team mates were hurleys at the ready for the guard of honour. Church signing was by the fabulous Caroline Fraher, and John Mollaghan of Moments Videos has samples of her fine signing voice on his site. As the weather wasn’t great we headed to the Cobh Heritage Centre for a photo shoot, so many thanks to them and it’s well worth a visit on one of the those, ‘what will we do today’ type of days. All events limos whisked the bridal party off to the reception which was being held at the Maryborough Hotel which is always warm and inviting. Congratulations to Julie & Patrick and their families. Claire & Colm’s Wedding, Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely and The Radisson Hotel, Cork.

Best day of the Summer, hard to believe it’s the end of November! Lovely day for shooting Claire & Colm’s wedding in East Cork. Beautiful music by Carol Keniry and the wedding couple were driven by Aidan Daly of Top Class Limousine, a gentleman and very professional. Fr. Pat Beecher from Dublin, (the brides Uncle) with Fr. Jack Cogan from Mogeely officiated. The timing couldn’t have been better, as we got to Inch beach the sun was setting and it was ideal for our photo session. Off then to the Radisson hotel in Little Island for the banquet and dancing by the band, J-90. Congratulations to Claire & Colm. Sandra & Michael’s Wedding, The Honan Chapel UCC and The Blarney Golf Resort.

It’s hard to believe that a day in November was one of the best days this year for a Wedding Photograper in Cork. A lovely dry day, no wind and beautiful sunshine and a great couple too! It was a busy house as Lynsey O’Leary hair and Elaine O’Callaghan Make-Up were busy doing the finishing touches for the girls. Blarney Limo Hire ferried them to The Honan Chapel and Fr. David McAuliffe was waiting to officiate. Treble Clef provided the music and sung some fab harmonies. We used the grounds at UCC for photos and also headed for Blarney Castle Estate, to catch the Autumn colours in the low sunlight. The Blarney Golf resort was the next stop and I captured plenty candid moments of guests and family before getting a moonlit shot of Sandra & Michael. Congratulations to you both, Donagh. Niamh & John’s Wedding. The John the Baptist Church, Fedamore and The Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare, County Limerick.

It was my first visit to the little village of Fedamore in County Limerick. Lovely countryside and lovely people. When I left Cork it was pouring down but it was a sunny day in Fedamore. Niamh’s uncle Fr. Liam Enright oversaw the wedding ceremony assisted by Fedamore parish priest Fr. Mike Cussen. Yvonne and Elaine performed the church music  in what is a nice sized and bright church, perfect for photographers. We headed back to Niamh’s house to get photographs with her Father’s Vintage tractors and then headed for the Abbey in Adare. This old abbey is perfect for photography, the contrast between the old stone and Bridal fashion is perfect, with some interesting Celtic architecture.
